The costume rental studio run by Seoul Tour at Dae Jang Geum Park in Yongin has been relocated to Myeong-dong. How about dressing up in an outfit from a Korean period drama and enjoying a drama-like experience in a photo zone that has reproduced a filming location?
More than 250 outfits are available here, including costumes worn in TV series such as Dong Yi, Lee San, Wind in the Palace, Dae Jang Geum, and Moon Embracing the Sun, as well as traditional and modern hanbok. There are 10 different photo zones in a wide space stretched across 330 square meters, offering an ideal place for you to capture memorable moments.

Throughout its eight years of operation at Dae Jang Geum Park in Yongin, mecca of Korean historical dramas, LumiSpace has been beloved by a countless number of international tourists.
To ensure more Hallyu (or Korean Wave) fans gain easy access to the Korean cultural experience, it has relocated to Myeong-dong at the heart of Seoul.
2. Offering not only period drama costumes, but also traditional hanbok as well as children’s hanbok! Over 250 outfits are available.
The place offers outfits from popular Korean TV series such as Dong Yi, Lee San, Wind in the Palace, Dae Jang Geum, and the Moon Embracing the Sun.
Drama outfits in LumiSpace are made by professionals who make the costumes used in the period dramas, thereby allowing visitors to dress up in the exact same outfit worn in popular TV series.
3. Dress up like a famous TV show character and take memorable photos in 10 photo zones.
LumiSpace offers you to dress up in a drama-like outfit at 10 photo zones that extend over 330 square meters.
In addition to the photo zone with a traditional concept, there is also a modern photo zone with a beautiful Nordic-style chandelier. Palace-themed mural painting that blends the past with the present next to the stairs extending from the third to the fourth floor is another photogenic spot.

4. A wide variety of accessories! Our staff members will help you decorate your hair.
If you are unsure how to spruce up your outfit with accessories, our staff members will be there to help you out.
We will pull off hair accessories that match your look.
Hair accessories include daenggi (Korean ribbon used to tie up and decorate braided hair), binyeo (Korean traditional hairpin), and hair band. As for the hats and headdresses, gisaeng hats (female courtesan’s hats), female physician’s headdresses, crowns, gat (traditional Korean hat worn by men), gache (traditional Korean wig worn by women), and daesu meori (Queen’s ceremonial headdress) are available.
The place also offers other accessories such as norigae (woman’s clothing ornament), ggotsin (flower-patterned traditional Korean footwear), and hand fans.
Hanbok experience program
Check out the menu at the reception, pick out the course and outfit you like, and go inside a changing room to change your outfit. The staff will be there to help you wear the clothes and decorate yourself with accessories.
You will have to do your own hair and makeup, but the changing room is equipped with full-length mirror, a hair dryer, a hairbrush, and a hair spray ready for you.
You can also store your luggage in a locker.
Popular courses
LumiSpace offers a “studio photography course” to allow you to take selfies in the studio and a “going out dressed in hanbok course” which consists of a studio photography course and going outside in hanbok.
You can visit the store to apply for the course, but in this case, you may have to wait for a while. Therefore, we recommend you make an online reservation before visiting the store.

Studio photography course (60 min)
KRW 20,000–25,000 (queen’s ceremonial wear: KRW 35,000; children’s hanbok: KRW 15,000)
This course allows you to pick out an outfit, wear accessories, decorate your hair, and enjoy a one-hour selfie experience in the studio.
You are welcome to take selfies anywhere in the studio photo zone on the 4th floor, the stairs with a palace mural connecting the 3rd floor with the 4th floor, and the photo zone on the 3rd floor.
Outfits for the main characters of TV series are available for the studio photography course only.
Going out dressed in hanbok course (90 min)
This course allows you to pick out an outfit, put on accessories and decorate your hair, take a selfie in the studio for 30 minutes, and then go outside dressed in hanbok for an hour.
This course is recommended for those who want to take photos both inside and outside the studio to capture the streets and nature of Seoul!
It is fun to take a stroll in Myeong-dong street filled with modern buildings and visit nearby Myeong-dong Cathedral and Namsan Hanok Village.
Korean historical and cultural experience course
Bukchon rickshaw experience dressed in hanbok (210 min)

This course offers you to ride a rickshaw while dressed in hanbok and take a look around Bukchon Hanok Village where Korean traditional houses are densely located. Be a maiden from a noble family and travel through time to the Joseon era in a rickshaw!

The place offers convenient access to public transportation.
The spacious store extending over the 3rd and 4th floors of the building will impress you with its colorful chandeliers and pretty flower beds.
The traditional studio is located on the 4th floor, and other facilities such as reception and lounge are located on the 3rd floor.
